1. Information we collect through OrbiDrive and OrbiPulse
Account information
We may collect your name, email address and sign-in or account information to authenticate you and associate your account with farms, devices and functions you are authorised to access.
Farm, site and device information
We process information about farms, sites and connected equipment associated with your account. This may include valves, T-valves, pumps, sensors, device identifiers, device relationships, configuration information and the installation or asset location recorded for a device.
Device and operational readings
Connected equipment may send operational and diagnostic information such as valve position, battery condition, signal strength, water detection, flow information, device status, faults, alarms and similar telemetry required to operate and support the service.
App activity and commands
We may record irrigation schedules you create, commands sent to connected equipment, the time of those commands, their execution status and results, and related device events. These records are used to operate the service and maintain an operational history for safety, troubleshooting and support.
Preferences stored on your device
Certain preferences such as language, units, theme and notification choices may be stored locally on your phone.
Technical information
Our systems or service providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, timestamps, browser or device information, network requests and diagnostic events.
2. Device permissions and information we do not use for advertising
The OrbiDrive end-user app is intended to operate connected irrigation and water-control equipment. It does not display third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information or use personal information for targeted advertising.
The OrbiDrive end-user app does not require access to your contacts or microphone for its normal operation. Where a different E-Actuell application, such as an installer or service application, uses permissions such as camera or device location for commissioning, QR/barcode scanning, asset mapping or service work, those permissions and data uses must be disclosed for that application.
3. How we use information
authenticate users and manage authorised access;
operate valves, pumps and other connected equipment;
execute irrigation schedules and user commands;
display device status, telemetry, alarms and operating history;
send operational notifications and service alerts;
associate devices with the correct farm, site or account;
diagnose faults and communication problems;
provide customer support, servicing, warranty administration and maintenance;
protect our services against misuse, unauthorised access and security incidents;
maintain records needed for contractual, legal, accounting or regulatory purposes; and
improve the reliability and functionality of our products and services.
4. Notifications
OrbiDrive may provide notifications relating to irrigation activity, valve or pump results, faults, communication issues and battery condition. Depending on your phone and operating system, the app may periodically check for updated information in the background. You can change available notification preferences in the app or through your phone's notification settings.
5. Website, WhatsApp, email and business communications
If you contact E-Actuell through our website, WhatsApp, email or other business channels, we may process your name, company, role, email address, telephone number and the messages or attachments you provide. This may include enquiries, quotations, invoices, support requests and related correspondence.
Authorised personnel may review these communications to handle your request. We may use approved business software and AI-assisted tools to classify communications, prepare draft responses, identify action items and coordinate follow-ups. Significant commitments, including purchases or payments, remain subject to appropriate human approval.
WhatsApp communications are also subject to the privacy practices of WhatsApp/Meta. Please do not send passwords, one-time passcodes or unnecessary sensitive personal information through chat.
6. Where information is stored and processed
OrbiDrive and OrbiPulse use cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS). Our primary application infrastructure is hosted in the AWS Mumbai region (ap-south-1). Information is transmitted between the app and our servers using encrypted network connections.
Some supporting service providers may process limited technical information through their own infrastructure where this is necessary to provide their service.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only where reasonably necessary with:
Authorised farm or organisation users: administrators and users who have been granted access may see information associated with that farm or organisation according to their permissions.
Cloud and service providers: providers that support hosting, communications, business email, messaging, customer support, document storage, accounting or workflow automation.
Map providers: where maps are displayed, map content may be loaded from providers such as Esri or OpenStreetMap. Those providers may receive ordinary technical request information such as IP address and device/browser information.
Authorities: where disclosure is required by applicable law, lawful regulatory requirements or valid governmental requests.
8. Data retention
We retain account and personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service or maintain the relevant business relationship. Operational records such as schedules, commands and device events may be retained for equipment safety, traceability, troubleshooting, warranty or service support, security, dispute resolution, or legal and regulatory requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, de-identify or anonymise it as appropriate.
9. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your OrbiDrive account and associated personal data. If account creation is available within the OrbiDrive app, an account-deletion request option will also be made available within the app.
You can also request deletion without the app by visiting our Data Deletion Instructions or by emailing support@e-actuell.com from the email address associated with your account.
When an account-deletion request is verified, we will delete the account and personal data associated with that account, except information that we must retain for legitimate reasons such as legal or regulatory compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or necessary equipment safety and traceability records. Where operational farm or device records must be retained, we will remove or de-identify personal identifiers where reasonably possible.
10. Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact us to:
ask about personal information associated with you;
request a copy of relevant personal information;
request correction of inaccurate information;
request deletion of your account or personal information;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or
raise a privacy concern or grievance.
We may need to verify your identity or account ownership before acting on a request. Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any lawful retention requirements.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal and device-related information. These measures include encrypted network communications, user authentication, access permissions, controlled access to farm and device information, and server/application security controls.
No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should keep their passwords and account credentials confidential and notify us if they suspect unauthorised use of their account.
12. Cookies and external websites
Our website or hosting services may use technical cookies or similar technologies required for site operation and security. If additional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will review and update the applicable disclosures and consent mechanisms. External websites and services are governed by their own privacy policies.
13. Children's privacy
OrbiDrive and our business services are intended for farm operators, customers, organisations and other authorised adult users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the OrbiDrive service.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our applications, services, systems or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Where appropriate, significant changes may also be communicated through the app or other suitable channels.

Website and simulator details
The following supplementary disclosures cover this website’s browser-based demonstrations and customer request services.
A. Games, 3D experiences and SCADA
City and agriculture calculations, valve operations, simulated readings and proposed network changes run in your browser. The current simulator code does not upload your operation history, scores or planning inputs to an analytics service or attach them to your customer account.
Some guided activities save progress on the current browser. The city can read a previously saved local plan. Running city levels and operating changes are held in memory and are not automatically restored after reloading. If you download an operating record, that file is saved on your device; you choose whether to share it.
Energy ratings, planning inputs and energy budgets entered into the city simulator remain in its current browser session and may be included in a session record you choose to download. Normal requests to load the game and its assets still reach the website host. A simulator is not an appropriate place to enter identifiable resident records or confidential network details. Use representative data for demonstrations.
B. Cookies and browser storage
The account service uses essential cookies to maintain a signed-in session and, during certain verification flows, a temporary challenge. Session expiry and inactivity limits follow the account service configuration. Signing out ends that session.
Browser storage can remember your motion preference, guided city or agriculture progress and a previously saved city project. These entries remain on that browser until cleared or replaced; they are not advertising cookies.
This website build does not include advertising trackers or a game analytics service. Enabling a new optional tracking service would require an updated notice and any applicable choice before it runs.
Clear saved experience data
This removes OrbiDrive motion preferences, guided progress and saved city plans from this browser. It does not delete customer records, sign you out, change an open simulation or remove files you downloaded. Close other experience tabs first, then reopen them after clearing.
You can also use your browser’s site-data settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or request tracking from working.
D. Retention and security
Account, request and service records are retained for the relevant account or service relationship, resolving enquiries and disputes, and applicable legal or accounting obligations. A request to delete information is reviewed against those purposes and obligations. The current account and booking system does not automatically erase all records after a fixed period; ask us about the retention of your particular record.
Temporary verification and security records have separate expiry or cleanup rules. Hosting logs and backups follow the configured hosting and backup arrangements. Deleted information may remain in restricted backups until those backups are replaced under the applicable retention process.
The account software uses password hashing, access controls and session safeguards. Protection also depends on secure hosting, configuration and administration. No website or transmission method can promise absolute security. Keep your password, recovery codes and tracking key private.
E. Your choices and requests
You can explore the public simulations without creating a customer account. You can leave optional fields blank, stop using an experience, clear its browser-saved data, sign out, or contact us to ask about your information.
To request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent or to raise a privacy complaint, email support@e-actuell.com. Describe the request and provide an account identifier or booking reference if relevant. Do not send your password or tracking key. We may need proportionate identity verification before disclosing or changing a record.
Withdrawal or deletion may affect services that depend on the information. It does not undo processing already lawfully completed. You may pursue any complaint or remedy available under applicable law; information about India’s data-protection framework is available from MeitY.
Young visitors
The commercial account and request services are intended for adults acting personally or for an organisation. Visitors under 18 should explore the demonstrations without submitting personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child’s information has been submitted can contact us to request its review and removal where appropriate.
